Madeira Wine is a type of fortified wine made in the Madeira Islands, Portugal. It is usually produced in a variety of styles ranging from dry wines which can be consumed on their own as an aperitif, to sweet wines more usually consumed with dessert. Often used in cooking, Madeira wines have all the ingredients for a great evening.
