The Carmenere Chilean Red Wine is a native French variety grape wine. Flavours like red fruits with a hint of chocolate and coffee are major characteristics. It is produced in the Rapel Valley. Carmenere is a soft, spicy red wine and about 70% of the wine is fermented in American oak barrels and 30% in stainless steel tanks. This wine has won several awards – The Gold Mundus Vini Award, the silver IWC Award and the Bronze IWSC award in the year 2011. Food Choice – This wine tastes best with spicy meat dishes, lamb biriyani or curry. It can also be paired with dark chocolate.
