Choya
Choya are specialist producers of Sake and Umeshu. With beginnings dating back to 1914 with the simple task of cultivating grapes. In 1924, Mr. Sumitaro Kondo established Choya, and began to make and sell grape wines. By 1949, Choya had branched out into selling Brandy and in 1951, they branched out into fruit based wines. In 1959, Choya began to make and sell ume fruit liqueur, which is what they have become known for. Now available in a variety of styles, Choya is enjoyed worldwide.
