This Trinidadian 7-year-old rum from Angostura is a blend of molasses-based rums aged in charred American oak ex-bourbon barrels. A deep and decadent rum which can be enjoyed neat as sipping rum or over ice, equally it can mix a stunning contemporary take on a classic cocktail such as Manhattan or an Old Fashioned.
This powerful, robust and flavourful rum is a blend of light, medium and heavy rums distilled in Angostura's continuous still at different intensities and matured in once-used oak casks for a minimum of seven years. Mouth watering flavours include maple, chocolate, honey and toffee and presents a rich full-bodied taste that tapers off in to the classic rum finish. A rich hue of deep mahogany. Offers an enticing bouquet of creamy aromas of vanilla, chocolate, molasses, coffee and oak. Rich medium body, packed with toasty flavours of chocolate, honey, coffee, toffee, and roasted nuts. The flavours persist on the palate for an extended period of time, eventually tapering to a fade of molasses, rich cinnamon, and spice.
