A rum of supreme quality and one of the finest aged rums on the market. A blend of select aged rums, each being at least 15 years old, though some are much older are matured in 45 gallon oak casks in an ideal natural climate for ageing - within six degrees of the equator on the tropical north coast of South America. As well as the most up-to-date distillation equipment, the distillery possesses a wealth of traditional expertise, with old-style Demerara pot stills and patent rum and alcohol stills. The last fully operating rectangular wooden Coffey still in the Western world continues to be used for the production of the companies finest spirits. El Dorado 15 Year Old is packaged in a gold-embossed presentation box illustrated with an historic maritime design, underlying Guyana's association with ancient maritime traditions.
