Hubert Underberg married on the 17^th June 1846 and it was on that same day that he established the company Underberg-Albrecht at the town hall.

While studying in the Netherland and Belgium he was introduced to a herbal elixir. This was what sparked his ideal of combining all the healing purposes that the herbs provide with modern production methods.
