Taylors 10yo Tawny Port 75cl

Taylor’s is one of the most respected producers of 10 Year old Tawny Ports and the leading producer of the 10 year old Tawny in the UK. It is created from a blend of different grapes varieties such as the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Cao and Tinta Amarela.

This Style of port is fully matured in seasoned oak casks each holding about 630 litres of wine. Here, over many years of ageing, the wine gradually takes on its characteristic amber tawny colour loosing its initial dark purple-black colour and slowly develops the complex mellow flavours and the smooth luscious palate that is a hallmark for this style of port.

The 10 year old Tawny is bottled when ready to drink and will not improve if laid down in the bottle. It is an excellent accompaniment to nut based desserts and is ideally served slightly chilled.
