Description
The Fleurie Poncereau is vinified like the wines from this region semi-carbonic maceration with pumping of the cap and respect of the intactness of the grape cluster. It is then aged in oak barrels for 8-10 months before bottling.The Beaujolais vineyard is situated in the Southern part of the Burgundy region. Fleurie is one of the 10 ‘Crus' of the Beaujolais situated between Villefranche sur Saône and Mâcon. Approximately 815 ha are produced under the Fleurie appellation. The Poncereau parcel lies near Fleurie, on the North and West sides of the village.
