We five times distil our grain vodka then, using a method called “Bonification”, we lightly infuse it with hand-picked Shetland botanicals including Meadow Sweet, Sea Pink, Angelica and Marsh Marigold. Description
Designed to drunk neat and super chilled, they have come up with two ways that you can chill your Blackwoods vodka before drinking, the modern way and the traditional Viking way. The Vikings used to chill their drinks by tying a rope around the bottle and then throwing it into the sea, the modern way however incorporates a freezer and you putting the bottle in their for about 30 minutes. Depending on how traditional you want to have your vodka is up to you, but we feel the drink is traditional enough so the freezer is your best bet.
