Description
Released to commerorate 25 years of the Ardbeg committe, this release does not disappoint. Yes, some of the more recent releases may not have been up to expectations, but Smokiverse delivers! Ardbeg have experimented with whiksy by a process called 'high gravity mashing', which essentially involves less water and more grain in the mash tun. The process leads to a magnified intensity of flavour-active acetate esters. The result is the emergence of more tropical fruity and sweeter notes. A creamy yet intensely rich mouthfeel all wrapped in sweet smoke and delicious yet infinite finish.
