Description
In the 1960’s Jose, Nicolas, Jesus and Angel, all member of the medina family who were working at different Jerez wineries, decided to create their own winery. The firm decided to focused their energies on the international market and gradually expand the business through various acquisitions of other companies. This continued to be the case as they introduced an aggressive business strategy and started to acquire different brands that strengthened and diversified their product range. Their latest acquisition was the international group William & Humbert and their famous sherry came with the acquisition.
The production process for the Williams & Humbert Walnut Brown is controlled fermentation and fortifired at 19.5°. They then blend, Palomino, Pedro Ximenez and Muscatel and then rack them into clean casks before entering the Crisderas y soleras system. This is for the physical chemical ageing through oxidation in oak casks. In these oak casks they will be aged for at least 4 years.
