Aged in Spanish Jerez casks, the Macallan 12yo, by some, is described as the best 12 year old single malt around. On the tongue, the Macallan 12yo is slightly sweet with hints of honey, plum and vanilla. The finish, as you'd expect is, lingering and smooth with a slight spice note.
