San Cosme Silver Mezcal 70cl

This Joven unaged version of San Cosme, which was originally produced for the German market. One of a new explosion of boutique premium mezcals appearing in the UK.

San Cosme mezcal is named after Saint Cosmas, the patron saint of doctors and is sourced from an undisclosed distillery in Oaxaca, Mexico.

Made from a base of 100% Espadin Agave, a popular form of agave for the traditional mezcaliers of Oaxaca, the agave is baked in traditional stone lined fire pits and fermented in wooden tubs, following centuries-long practice. The smoke from the fires gives the mezcal its characteristic smoky flavor.
