Guiseppe Alberti Strega is an Italian classic herb-based liqueur created using 70 different ingredients with a charming history. This all natural liqueur obtains its vivid yellow hue from the saffron in the alcohol infusion used to produce Strega. Produced in the 1860s, Strega is fine, smooth and soft tasting liqueur that is left to ferment in oak vats to give the perfectly balanced aromas and flavours. Originally used by beautiful creatures to ensnare lovesick humans with their spells, hence the name Strega meaning witch. This liqueur has a tradition of being consumed by couples, who are said to remain together forever upon consumption of this liqueur. Delicious served alone or as a base for many cocktails.
