Glenfarclas 21 Year Whisky 70cl

The Glenfarclas 21 year old is a single malt whisky that is full bodied with big fruit and sherry flavours. After being aged for 21 years, in both American Bourbon and Spanish Oloroso Sherry casks it is finished off in barrels that once contained rum from the Caribbean. It lays in here for 4 months where the whisky infuses with the cask, absorbing its flavour.

The colour of the Glenfarclas is dark amber gold, with an intense aroma that is full of tropical fruit, nutmeg and almonds with a slight citrus note at the end. It is all held together with the sweet smokiness of vanilla. On the palate it is rich and rounded, which develops slowly into fruity, smoky and spicy flavours. The finish is long, smooth and smoky with a chocolate sensation at the back of the throat.
