Nose: distinguished for its aromatic richness, this 12-year-old rums presents a symphony of spices. Cloves, cinnamon, and vanilla weave together, leading to an intriguing note reminiscent of a 
library - evoking an image of polished wood and intellectual sophistication

Palate: An experience that defies the traditional expectations of rum. The palate unfolds with a grape distillate-like sweetness and a prominent wood-forward profile. Vegetal notes gracefully yield to the influence of the oak, and the aging process imparts polished and nuanced flavours. The influence of wood takes centre stage with heightened wood spice, introducing richer elements such as vanilla, butterscotch, burnt honey, and a hint of milk chocolate. The funk, though present, has mellowed with time, allowing a more refined character to emerge.

Finish: a revelation of fire and finesse. A long, extended finale that is reminiscent of red pepper flakes, filling the mouth with a touch of fruit, vanilla, and black coffee. Supple spices, cloves, and crème caramel dance on the palate, leaving a lasting, smooth, and clean impression.
