Dows Fine Ruby Port is the youngest of the Dow’s wood-aged Ports, having been aged approximately 3 years in oak cask. The Douro valley produces some of the best grapes for Port which is why Dow Fine Ruby Port is made from only the finest hand picked grapes from the Douro’s region. During the ageing process the wines are tasted regularly and only deemed ready for blending when they taste right, which is why there is no specific age given to the port. The Port is blended with all the care of a premium quality Port with a fine balance and flavour, worthy of the Dow’s name.
