Description
Don Julio 1942 is a special anejo tequila that is produced in small batches and reflects Don Julio Gonzalez's life long passion for making quality tequila. Its sweet and complex aroma complements an equally intriguing range of flavours including hints of warm oak, pepper and cinnamon for an ultra smooth tequila with astonishing depth and character.
The colour is a brilliant royal gold and the nose contains aromas of rich, sweet caramel and toffee. On the palate the taste is silky smooth with flavours of roasted agave and vanilla flavours enhance by sun ripened tropical fruits and spiced undertones. The finish is of sweet agave laced with lingering hints of oak and rich vanilla essence.
