Classic Malts Coastal Collection of Whiskies 3x 20cl Gift Tasting Pack

This is a great little gift pack consisting of very popular Scottish whiskies that have their distilleries situated on the many coasts of Scotland. It contains the sea rich aired Caol Ila 12 year old, The fruity clynelish 12 year old and the peaty Talisker 10 year old.

The Coal Ila distillery is situated on the coast of Islay and tucked away in a very remote location. It was launched in June 2002 and is aged for 12 years in Coal Ila warehouses that sit right next to the sea, where it can absorb the natural sea rich air to mix in with the whisky which is a trademark of this distillery.

The Clynelish distillery is situated on the coast of Scotland and is the most northern distillery out of the three in this pack. It has been aged for 12 years in ex sherry casks from Europe but you can still detect the trademark fruit and wax character that is habitual of this distillery.

The Talisker distillery is located near the coast on the Isle of Skye just off the west coast of Scotland and is the only distillery on the island. It is a strong single malt that has been aged for 10 years and is bottled at cask strength. With its intense explosive flavours and traditional peaty character, Talisker 10 year old is debatably the best Isle single malt out there.
