Recognised worldwide with it's iconic green glass botttle, Perrier water has been in distribution since 1863. The spring in Southern France from which Perrier is drawn was originally known as Les Bouillens. It had been used as a spa since Roman times. Local doctor Louis Perrier bought the spring in 1898 and operated a commercial spa there; he also bottled the water for sale and put his name on every bottle.

Today, Perrier is enjoyed worldwide, with high numbers of sales in it's native France, as well as America and the UK.
