Aberlour 16 Year Double Cask Whisky 70cl

Aberlour 16 year old is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and the finest ex-sherry butts. This maturation ensures the depth of character as well as the distinctive fruitiness and spiciness of Aberlour.
The colour is rich gold amber with the nose being equally rich. The aroma is dry with floral and sweet raisin aromas with spicy nuttiness. The palate is smooth, full, sweet and spicy, with soft plum fruitiness and gentle oakiness which develops on the finish which is long, warm with spicy fruitiness.
