Vodka is by far the most recognised and consumed spirit in the world. It is continuously growing in reputation and popularity. The up-turn is due to it being the most versatile spirit on the market. Vodka can be enjoyed neat, with a soft-drink mixer such as a fizzy drink or juice and more commonly as the key ingredient to some of the most popular cocktails such as Bloody Mary and The White Russian.

Vodka, being a distilled beverage, is primarily a mix of water and ethanol with traces of impurities and flavourings. Traditionally Vodka is made from fermented grains such as wheat and rye (similar to whisky). Some distilleries produce Vodka from potato, barley, grapes, rice and corn. A recent trend has seen these same distilleries marrying ingredients to produce a unique blend of Vodka.
