Tullibardine 1973 is a single malt whisky from the Highland region of the Scotland. This bottled was distilled in 1973 and bottled in 2004 giving it an age of 31 years old. It is distilled in casks that previously held sherry and was then bottled at natural cask strength.
On appearance, the colour is a bright gold colour. On the nose it is of medium body and well-balanced. There is a crisp note of acacia honey and honeycomb, barley sugar and toasted cereals with notes of cut herbs. The palate is quite light and medium bodied. There are notes of cut straw and floral flavours with hints of caramel and barley followed closely by honey. The finish has a medium length to it and is dry with more floral and oak notes.
