Tequila blu is a multi award winning tequila winning double gold medals at the San Francisco 2010 world spirit championship and a double gold at the 2010 world spirit awards in Europe. It is exceptionally smooth sipping tequila created in the famous tequila making part of the world Jalisco Mexico. The Blue agave plants that they use have to be a minimum of 10 years old so that they heart or the agave plants has had time to collect all the right mineral from the volcano over looking it. It is a Reposado tequila meaning that it has been rested and Tequila Blu rest their tequila in charred oak barrels for up to 3 months in order for it to acquire its distinct rich and smoky taste.
