Talisker 44 Year Whisky 70cl

Talikser created this extraordinary and rare whisky in conjunction with Parley for Oceans, a non-profit organisation that travels around the world to protect oceanic ecosystems. As part of their Great African Forest Green expedition to Cape Of Good Hope, South Africa, they took oak staves along, which naturally reacted with sea conditions. Upon their return, the oak staves were used to create 10 unique 'marine' casks which were then charred with sustainably sourced sea kelp before being filled with rare Talisker whisky. The result is the official release of Talisker's oldest-ever single malt whisky.

Only 1997 of these bottles have been produced for a global audience. As part of the experience, within each box, you will receive a note on the journey the oak staves made as well as a piece of oak to awaken your senses.
