Much like its younger brother the Ron Millonario Solera 15 Year Old Reserva Especial Rum, the XO goes through the watchful process of fermentation, distillation and ageing, bringing together old and modern techniques, and uniting art, science and tradition. It also goes through the same solera ageing process as the 15 year old but differs from its younger brother in the blend of the rum. The XO is made up of 18 and 21 year old rums but rumour has it that the blend also contains rum aged up to 30 years! It is a truly wonderful rum that should be appreciated on its own.
