Non vintage Champagnes make up the majority of Champagnes available on the market. With Brut champagne being the most common style of NV, it is made from a blend of multiple vintage wines with around 12-15 grams of sugar added to formulate the blend. Other styles of NV champagne include the beautiful Rosé, which is made using the same principles of a Brut, but gains its colour from the addition of a small about of Pinot Noir red wine, or allowing the clear juice of black grapes to macerate on its skins for a brief time e.g. Laurent Perrier Rose.
