Moet & Chandon 2002 Brut Grand Vintage captures the essence of 269 years of Moet. It is a robust complex and mature champagne constructed from a variety of grapes pick in the 2002 harvest consisting of 51% Chardonnay, 26% Pinot Noir and 23% Pinot Meunier.
The 2002 Vintage is a bold gold colour and easy on the eye. It provides a complex and mature bouquet of toasted sweet and dry aromas with notes of frangipane and gilled almonds. Ripe fruits then dominate the bouquet with a strong essence of pear complemented by stoned fruits such as nectarines and plums. On the palate the flavours are brilliantly precise, working in perfect harmony together to construct the best experience. There is a complete roundness and a velvety texture on the palate with flavours of fresh fruits such as grapefruit and mandarin that dominate creating a complex mature and boldly brilliant Champagne.
