More Information
Kopparberg is made by the Kopparberg brewery in the town Kopparberg in central Sweden. Established in 1882 the brewery is family owned and the main employer of the town with a population rate of only 4000 people. Kopparberg was not released in the U.K until 2003, with the Pear and Apple varieties. In 2003-2007 they joined with pub group Wetherspoon to help sell the cider but it was not as popular then as it is now. They found it easy to distribute across the globe due to them not having contracts with distributers. In 2007 they introduced the non alcoholic range of apple and pear with their mixed berry version coming out shortly after. It was then that they really took off in the U.K and now have a selection of different flavours including, strawberry and lime, elderflower and lime and there new and highly anticipated Raspberry and mint flavour.
