Highclere Castle London Dry Gin 70cl

Highclere Castle Gin is distilled above and ancient underground water

source in Englands oldest distillery, Langeley Distillery, in one of the

oldest working gin stills dating back to the 1800’s. The receipe was developed

over two years, using botanicals grown on the Highclere Castle Estate.

After the neutral wheat spirit is distilled, the botanicals are carefully

weighed and added to the still along with the charge of spirits. The

warming process of the still allows the botanicals to begin releasing

their natural oils for distillation, a process that continues overnight.

The following morning, the stills are heated to a higher temperature, and

the boiling process turns the spirit into vapour and then recondensed into

liqui, bringing the subtle flavours and oils of the botanicals with it.

Highclere Castle Gin is made from a carefully selected selection of ‘Hearts’,

the highest quality selection of the distilled spirit.
