Hangar One is named after the distillery's rented space at the old Alameda Naval Air Station in California. The huge hangar sits on the edge of a disused runway (now a bird sanctuary) with panoramic views of the Bay Bridge and San Francisco. The colossal space houses an Arnold Holstein still.
Mandarin Blossom is made with only the freshest Californian fruit and is bottled without the addition of sugar. Not using harsh filtration techniques is part of the distillery's ethos, so it is not unusual to find small residual solids in the drink.
