Product Details

This is an exclusive release of Graham’s 1961 single harvest Tawny, with only three casks of 712 bottles each going on the market. Graham’s award-winning top winemaker, Charles Symington, personally selected this port out of 14 other casks. With each bottle being hand numbered and personally bottled by the bottling manager, it is also accompanied by its own certificate of ownership.

Not only is the spirit inside the bottle excellent but the bottle itself has been designed in house by Graham’s using the highest quality materials. Each flask is protected by a handmade padded leather tube and a solid oak cap that doubles up as a display plinth.

The 1961 Colheita shows a vivid rich amber colour with a suggestion of a green tinge on the rim. On the nose you get an explosion of multiple aromas including caramel, nuts hints of vanilla and cigar. On the palate it is concentrated creating a complex palate revealing honeycomb, exotic spiced and orange peel flavours. The richness of this Port is balanced by a firm and refreshing acidity which gives the wine a perfect balance and structure, leading to an endless finish.
