Glenmorangie's dedication to the quality of their whisky is unparalleled as all the casks used to mature the whisky are made by Glenmorangie themselves using wood from their own forrest. These casks are then leased to different manufactures to be used in the aging of alcohols such as bourbon and sherry, inso doing they gain the flavours of the bourbon or sherry and can then impart these flavours to the whisky that matures in them.
