Glenmorangie Quarter Century is the rarest and oldest member of the Glenmorangie family. Named ‘Quarter Century’ because of how long it has been matured for. Full bodied and sumptuous, the Glenmorangie 25 year old is a true embodiment of continuous dedication and persisting for perfection, you wouldn’t expect anything less from Glenmorangie who are owned by Louise Vuitton Moet Hennessy.
Matured in a range of different casks, which is very rare for a whisky, including American White Oak, Oloroso Sherry casks and French Burgundy casks, before being blended back together in exact quantities. The Glenmorangie Quarter Century is complex, bursting with deep flavours and a perfect testimony to Glenmorangies knowledge and experience when creating whisky.
On the eye, Glenmorangie is a rich vibrant gold and on the nose it gives a first impression of dried fruits – blackberries, cherries, plums and dates, interwoven with chocolate and coffee. The taste is full flavoured with a big impression. Beginning with deep forest fruits bursting on the tongue with mouth watering blackberries and redcurrants emerging all contributing to a long and gentle finish, with brambles and warming spices, the perfect ending to a beautifully created whisky.
