Dalmore Castle Leod is a single malt Highland whisky distilled in the Scottish highland of Alness. It is the follow up to the 2010 Dalmore Mackenzie bottle and part of the money made will go towards the upkeep of Castle Leod.
This limited edition bottling celebrates the ancient and historic seat of Clan Mackenzie and is the second in a series crafted by master distiller Richard Paterson in homage to Clan Mackenzie. Distilled in 1995 this single malt was matured in American Oak, Spanish sherry and for a final 18 months in barriques from the legendary 1st cru classe Bordeaux chateau.
