Description
Croft Pink Port is an innovative new Rose style of port that is not made in the traditional style of port. It is made the same way as a rose wine, getting its pink colour from having very limited contact with the skin of classic port grape varieties, grown in top quality vineyards in the Douro valley in Portugal. The result is a fresh and vibrant port, full of rich fruit flavours with a unique distinct appeal.
It has broken the mould for regular port, allowing it to be drunk during the hotter summer months of the year when it is not usually consumed.It is best served chilled and as an aperitif accompanied by olives and walnuts. It can even be used in cocktails or served with desserts.
