Chateau Montifaud was founded in 1837 by Augustin Vallet and the Montifaud cognac house has stayed in the family ever since passing down from farther to son. This fine XO Cognac is made from 2nd Cru grapes from the Petite Champagne region of Cognac these grapes are distilled and then aged in specially selected French Limousin oak barrels.
