“THREE VINTAGES” CAVALLI TENUTA DEGLI DEI
Vintages 2008 – 2009 – 2010
Ultra-distinctive, both inside and out. Three vintages, three superb expressions of an incomparable terroir, three explosive reds in the most elegant 2013 collector’s The wooden box, created specifically for these wines, beautifully displays each vintage, printed in black and gold on each label.
Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, this IGT Toscana is the gift of just a few hectares of vines of the so called “Conca d’Oro” in Panzano in Chianti, and its unique characteristics are immediately recognizable in the glass, as confirmed by Italian and international wine critics vintage after vintage. Refined, mysterious, and majestically understated, the wines of this mini-vertical never fail to amaze, for the consistency of their overall character and yet for the distinctive identity of each individual vintage.
The 2010 vintage, available for some months now, is the most elegant and profound; fruit of a harvest that began a couple of weeks late, due to the significant difference between severe winter cold and torrid summer heat, it has emerged--just for that reason--as a vintage of impressive quality, with regard to both the ripeness of the grapes and their uniform high quality.
“Personality and fine balance are the secret of that famous Tuscan elegance... even in wine,” states Tommaso Cavalli, who personally makes the Tenuta’s wines.
“My goal is to make wines with no compromises, and Cavalli Tenuta degli Dei is rightly proud of the austere, lean character and notes of balsam and mineral that
reflect the innermost soul of the vineyard."
The collector’s box will be available in the best wine shops beginning in October. Focus packaging: Wooden box with fire-branded decoration and 3 individual pull- up lids.
Cover seals are shiny black with vintages hot-stamped in gold. It contains a brochure for each vintage with technical and growing year information, as well as a custom-printed Tenuta Degli Dei drop stop.
