A special Caol Ila that was distilled in 1998 and bottles in 2011 giving it an age of 13 year old. It was double matured in American oak casks first and then finished off in Moscatel wine casks that provide a lovely sweetness.

A special Caol Ila and the latest in a line of fantastic whiskies in the Distillers Edition range. The whisky has been double matured, first in America oak casks then a second maturation in casks which previously held Moscatel wine. This second casks adds a lovely sweet note to the smoke and peat.
