In 2009, three friends embarked on a mission to bring back the traditional methods of distilling gin to London once again. 

They opened their doors on Nasmyth Street, London and launched the first traditional copper distillery in London for over 200 years.

Handcrafting their gin in small batches, Sipsmith have now opened a larger distillery housing their lovingly named copper stills, Prudence, Patience and Constance, who meticulously distil their exquisite range of gins and vodka.

Born from passion, love and careful craftsmanship, Sipsmith are one of the most prestigious and recognised distillers in London today.

London Gin

It all started in 2009 with a simple mission shared by our three founders - to bring a London Dry Gin of truly uncompromising quality and character back to the city where it first earned its name. Smooth enough for a Martini, bold enough for a G&T, our London Dry Gin is something to behold

We've since added a selection of our talented distillers' most delicious gins, all inspired by our London Dry Gin recipe, such as Lemon Drizzle Gin, Zesty Orange Gin, Strawberry Smash Gin. Each hand crafted gin is lovingly laboured in small batches in our London Distillery - the way it used to be, the way it should be'.

Sipsmith G&T

INGREDIENTS
50ml Sipsmith London Dry Gin
50ml Fever-Tree tonic water
Twist of fresh lime (to garnish)

METHOD
Fill a highball glass with ice

Add Sipsmith London Dry Gin

Top with chilled, premium tonic water (we use Fever-Tree)

Lift from the bottom of the glass with a stirrer to gently combine together

Garnish with a twist of fresh lime

Sipsmith Martini

INGREDIENTS
50ml Sipsmith London Dry Gin
10-15ml dry vermouth
Lemon twist (to garnish)

METHOD
Fill a mixing glass with ice

Add the vermouth and stir for a few seconds

Add the gin to the mixing glass and stir briskly for 50 turns

Strain into a chilled glass and garnish with a lemon twist

Sipsmith Negroni

INGREDIENTS
25ml Sipsmith London Dry Gin
25ml sweet vermouth
25ml Campari
Orange twist (to garnish)

METHOD
Fill a mixing glass with ice

Add all the ingredients to the mixing glass and stir 20-25 times

Strain into an ice-filled Rocks glass

Garnish with an orange twist, studded with cloves

Zesty Orange G&T

INGREDIENTS
50ml Sipsmith Zesty Orange Gin
150ml premium tonic water (we use Fever-Tree)
Fresh orange wedge or twist (to garnish)

METHOD
Fill a tall glass with ice

Add the Sipsmith® Zesty Orange Gin

Top with Indian tonic water

Lift from the bottom of the glass with a stirrer or barspoon to gently combine together

Garnish with a wedge of fresh orange

Zesty Orange Spritz

INGREDIENTS
25ml Sipsmith Zesty Orange Gin
12.5ml sugar syrup
100ml chilled soda water
100ml prosecco
Large orange twist (to garnish)

METHOD
Add the Sipsmith® Zesty Orange Gin and sugar syrup to an ice-filled glass

Add the prosecco and soda water

Lift from the bottom with a bar spoon to mix whilst maintaining fizz

Garnish with a large orange twist

Lemon Drizzle Spritz

INGREDIENTS
50ml Sipsmith Lemon Drizzle Gin
25ml elderflower cordial
15ml lemon juice
75ml prosecco
25ml chilled soda water
lemon wheel

METHOD
Add the gin, elderflower cordial and lemon juice to an ice-filled wine glass and stir

Top with the prosecco and soda water

Lift from the bottom of the glass with a stirrer or bar spoon to gently combine the ingredients

Garnish with a lemon wheel

Sloe Gin Royale

INGREDIENTS
15ml Sipsmith Sloe Gin
100ml Champagne
Lemon twist, to garnish

METHOD
Add the sloe gin to a chilled flute

Top up—liberally—with Champagne

Garnish with a lemon twist

Very Berry Negroni

INGREDIENTS
25ml Sipsmith Very Berry Gin
25ml Campari
25ml sweet vermouth
blackberry, to garnish
orange twist, to garnish

METHOD
Fill a mixing glass with ice

Add all the ingredients (except garnish) to the mixing glass and stir 20-25 times with a stirrer

Strain into an ice-filled Rocks glass

Lift from the bottom of the glass with a stirrer to gently combine together

Garnish with an orange twist and blackberry and enjoy!

Very Berry Spritz

INGREDIENTS
50ml Sipsmith Very Berry Gin
50ml chilled prosecco
Chilled soda water, to top
Blackberries, raspberries and an orange twist, to garnish

METHOD
Pour the Very Berry Gin into an ice-filled wine glass

Add the prosecco

Top with prosecco

Garnish with a few blackberries, raspberries, and an orange twist
