The 3 Monts is a historical beer from the north of France, featuring the flavours characteristic of a time when beer served in the taverns of Flanders was drawn from a wooden barrel. Brewed by Saint Sylvestre in Saint Sylvestre Cappel, it is produced using an upward infusion then fermented with high yeast. The 3 Monts is a high-quality beer and so must be served between 8 or 10°, which is the temperature in cool cellars. The name of the beer refers to three hills in Flanders, Mont Noir in Belgium and MontCassel & Mont des Cats both on the French side of the border.Read More
