The Bacardi Superior Heritage rum was released in 2010 to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the Daiquiri cocktail leaving Cuba with the US Navy in 1909 and becoming an internationally celebrated cocktail. This Heritage bottling replicates many of the features of Bacardi’s original 1909 rum such as the increased 44.5% ABV that lets many of Bacardi’s essential characteristics shine through with a punchier taste. The bottle retains many authentic features such as: the original medals from Buffalo, Charleston, St Louis, & Paris; a cork style closure, and the traditional air space in the neck of the bottle that allows the alcohol to expand in hot climates.
