Huyghe Brewery

Founded in 1906, Huyghue Brewery was the brainchild of Léon Huyghe.

While the company initially brewed a regular pilsner, it soon began brewing the kinds of beers now typically known as "Belgian", including a series of beers under the "Delirium" tag, with pink elephants on the label. The best known of these is Delirium Tremens, a blonde, Belgian ale. Known worldwide as one of the most highly rated beers, Huyghe breweries produces a wide array of drinks, but are known for the Delerium range and Floris Wheat beers.

In January 2012 brewery Huyghe received a medal of honour from the Province of East-Flanders, as a recognition for their merits in the region. In Julyof the same year, the beers Floris Kriek and Delirium Tremens won medals at the International Beer Challenge in London.
