Estrella Galicia

Estrella Galicia Beer was founded by  D. Jose Mª Rivera Corral in 1906, upon his return from Mexico. Hailing from La Coruña, Spain, he started by producing ber and ice, which was only consumed in small amounts at that time.

In the 1920’s the factory introduced mechanization under the guidance of D. Ramon Rivera, the founder´s son, who having completed his business and science studies in Hamburg, was one of the first Spaniards to obtain a Brewmaster Diploma. The factory acquired a brewing room, vats for the fermentation process and metallic tanks in which to store the beer. These changes ensured that the factory could meet the increased demand for beer due to an ongoing process of gradual popular acceptance.

A true taste of Spain, Estrella Galicia is now enjoyed worldwide, known for its clean, crisp taste.
